Wastewater
The scope of works in the sewage field includes: Design and supervision of works, construction of waste water supply pipeline network; installation of new wastewater pipeline network, flow metering of waste water network, testing maintenance and inspection of waste water networks as well as supply of pipes, fittings, precast concrete chambers, plastic chambers, flowmeters and technical solutions. Over the last decade, KWE has been involved in the implementation of many successful projects, contracts in accordance to FIDIC international contractual regulations.
Major project include:
- Rehabilitation of existing waste water network and installation of new sewer pipelines in Prishtina (capital of Kosovo) including house connections and construction of overflow chambers in Dodona area: 6 km, ID 200 – ID 1200 mm; with PE and concrete pipes and installation of 240 precast concrete manholes DN 1000 and 1200 mm; construction of 4 overflow chambers, Installation of 3 flowmeters/ doppler sensors.
- Rehabilitation of existing waste water network and installation of new sewer pipelines in Prizren (second largest town in Kosovo), house connections and construction of overflow chambers: 6 km, ID 200 – ID 800 mm; with PE corrugated pipes; installation of 290 precast concrete manholes DN 1000 and 1200 mm; construction of 11 overflow chambers.
- Rehabilitation of existing waste water network and installation of new sewer pipelines in Gjakova including house connections and construction of overflow chambers: 7 km, ID 200 – ID 800 mm; with PE and concrete pipes and installation of 227 precast concrete manholes DN 1000 and 1200 mm; PIP trenchless installation of ID 325 mm pipe and UV lining of ID 300 and ID 350 mm pipe
